Anyone who’s been into Rimini’s tourist office lately can’t help but have been impressed picking up the handy and beautifully designed pocket-sized information booklets.
In particular the snazzy logo on the back, which morphs the town’s name into an elegant looking sun-lounger.
Now the news coming from the assesore al turismo, the local comune officer responsible for tourism, is that they’ve given the go ahead for the production of a number of souvenir items – bags, t-shirts, clothing items with the logo, which will be on sale allowing tourists to bring something cool home, while at the same time pushing the Rimini brand out there.
The logo was designed by internationally renowned Cattolica based designer  Marco Morosini (who created the wildly popular Brandina range of beach accessories).
We’re looking forward to seeing the finished products – the only reservation being the continued emphasis in Rimini’s branding solely as a beach resort – hopefully they’ll be follow up brand items highlighting the history, culture, and rich experience that the town and province  holds behind the waterfront.
