More views from Onferno

Another beautiful view from the small piazza outside the Locanda di Onferno restaurant, near Gemmano. This tiny town is beside the Grotte di Onferno, and was built on the original Roman Castrum Inferno (so called because of the hellish smell of the caves nearby – something not noticeable today!). A Bishop in RImini, in 1810, pruriently had the name changed to the less sinister Onferno. Breath-taking views.
