The 9th edition of the huge RiminiWellness event kicks off on may 30th through to June 2nd at Rimini Fiera. This annual event attracts visitors from all over the world, both professionals involved in the wellness and physical activity business, and the general public.
The event is packed with exhibitors showing off the latest in fitness equipment, techniques and disciplines, while at the same time the event organisers have put together a program rich with events and workshops to suit all tastes, ranging from gym and fitness sessions through to massage, holistic techniques, dance and yoga.
Rimini Fiera chairman, Lorenzo Cagnoni talking about the event said: “RiminiWellness once more confirms its role as world business capital of the wellness and physical activity sector – an appointment that is already a must in the year’s calendar, eagerly awaited and not to be missed by the sector’s companies, trade members and the increasingly numerous fans who take part in the event from all over the world, with a large number of foreign visitors from 60 nations, in particular Russia, East Europe, the Mediterranean area and Turkey. A new feature this year, is also the expo’s time slot, which will be the official opening of the Italian summer, with all the latest for the fitness and wellness worlds.”
Rimini Fiera Business Unit Manager Patrizia Cecchi adds, “The 2014 edition of RiminiWellness once more confirms the unique nature of its format at world level, which brings together public and trade pros, business and entertainment, fitness and health and this years adds another new section: Food Well, a specialized meeting point with informative workshops on correct healthy nutrition.”
“The trend under way is that of the ‘experiential’ nature of wellness”, explains the expo’s project manager Andrea Ramberti. “People go to fitness and wellness centres for an experience, and perhaps to share it with others. In most cases, the new disciplines that will be presented this year involve considerable socialization and, at the same time, a response to the desire to escape from our day-to-day routine, which has become increasingly frenetic.”
