Wyclef Jean, former Fugees front man, succesful solo artist, actor, and ex-candidate for the Haitian presidency (no less), is the headline DJ of the 2014 Molo Street Parade in Rimini on the 28th of June.
Wyclef Jean will join a list of over 80 Italian and international DJ’s who will turn Rimini’s picturesque port canal into one of Europe’s newest, freshest and tastiest Dance street parties. The Molo Street Parade, in its 3rd year now, puts DJ’s on fishing boats along the port, and – in a classic Rimini twist – serves up great local grilled sardines to accompany the all-night dancing.
It would probably be easier to list the famous musicians with whom Wyclef Jean hasn’t worked, suffice to say that his production/collaboration credits include Shakira, Will.i.am, Ludacris, Mary J. Blige and Timbaland. By DJ’ing at the Molo Street Parade he follows in the footsteps of Skin and Boy George.
